We Bind Our Booklets In 3 Ways

Saddle Stitching: The traditional saddle-stitched booklet is characterized by double staples securing the scored sheets of paper. Each side of a page is regarded as a single page, which means that the total page count for booklets must be a multiple of four. This binding method is ideally suited for booklets with a page range of 8 to 36; any greater thickness may lead to issues with the books not lying completely flat.

Perfect Binding: This process involves cutting and adhering multiple pages to create a spine. For a perfect bound book, we suggest using a thicker cover, as the glued spine contributes to a polished and professional appearance. Perfect binding is particularly suitable for look books, annual reports, and catalogues. We advise utilizing perfect binding for documents containing between 12 and 100 pages.

Wire Binding: Wire binding is an ideal solution for frequently utilized manuals, reports, student worksheets, and reference materials. We employ a premium loop wire binding method, complemented by a clear acetate front cover and a leatherette back cover. This binding technique is suitable for documents ranging from a few pages to several hundred. Our extensive selection includes black, white, and gold wires to accommodate various sizes. Additionally, wire binding can be adapted to create calendars with hangers.

Booklet Finishing

A range of finishes is available for both digital and offset booklets. These options encompass matte or gloss lamination, spot UV varnish, embossing, foiling, die cutting, scoring, perforating, special PMS colors, rounded corners, and hole punching. Please note that each finishing process may require an additional 1 to 2 days. Pricing can be provided upon request. We invite you to contact us for further information.

Lamination: This is a thin laminate coating that enhances both the look and great quality of your printing while also extending its durability.

Perforations: This facilitate the redemption of your promotions for customers by providing tickets that can be conveniently torn out.

Scoring/Folding: The process of scoring simplifies the folding of heavy card stock and decreases the risk of ink cracking at the points of fold.

Foiling: Available in various colours but most common in metallic gold and silver for that impressive look. It is particularly effective for use on cards and flyers.

Die Cutting: Add an extra dimension to your print by cutting it to shape. Just about any shape is possible.

Embossing: Get bossy and add a third dimension to your printing.
